    You must be fully qualified to 17th edition IEE regulations, with a range of experience in light commercial and domestic works. You will work as an electrician for the majority of the time, but you will also supervise work arrangements for other electricians (when needed), issue test certificates, quote/estimate for new works and prepare client invoices.

    Previous experience with managing NICEIC registration will be an advantage.

    The majority of your work will be for light commercial projects (including churches, schools, care homes, factories, hotels and similar properties) and also domestic properties (works for extensions, alterations and so forth).

    You must be flexible and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of team. Ideally, you will have at least basic skills with office-based e-mail/word/spreadsheet applications, and be familiar with generating electrical test certificates online or with specialist applications.
    The higher rates of pay are available for candidates with supervisory or management experience, and those who can demonstrate a potential for expanding and developing the electrical services we offer.

    Candidates with training and certification in asbestos awareness, first aid, site management/supervision and other relevant health & safety topics would be advantageous, but this is not an essential requirement.

    Although based near Truro we work throughout Central and west Cornwall therefore Driving Licence is essential
