Main Purpose of Job
To work as part of the Reception Team; meeting and greeting visitors, handling telephone calls and directing queries as appropriate. To provide general administrative support as directed by the Executive Administration Manager using relevant IT software.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome visitors in a professional and hospitable manner, ensuring signing-in procedures are followed.
Receive and prioritize incoming telephone calls, dealing with them appropriately including recording and distributing messages as required.
Provide administrative and secretarial support word-processing correspondence (sending letters and creating labels), reports and publications, updating and extracting computer information, photocopying and filing for the staff as and when required.
Deputize for the Executive Administration Manager as required, carrying out agreed specific tasks.
To maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the department.
Undertake other duties appropriate of the post as required.
Be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate.
This is a Full-Time Permanent position looking to pay £15,105 - £17,243 DOE.
